OZVENA choirs excelled at the Youth Sings regional round – Youth Choir earned Gold and Boys' Choir earned Silver.
Regional Round of Youth Sings 2026
On Wednesday, 25 March 2026, the regional round of the national progressive competition and showcase of children’s and youth singing choirs Youth Sings (Mládež spieva) took place in Vranov nad Toplou. The event was organized by the Hornozemplin Cultural Centre in Vranov nad Toplou.
Youth Sings is a long-standing Slovak choral competition running continuously since 1970, and it is one of the most significant events for children’s and youth choral singing in Slovakia. Choirs are evaluated by an expert jury and awarded Gold, Silver, or Bronze tiers based on the quality of their performance.
Our results
Competing against strong ensembles, the choirs of the OZVENA Choral Society at the Private Music School in Vranov nad Toplou achieved the following results:
- OZVENA Youth Choir – Gold tier (Category II – youth choirs)
- OZVENA Boys’ Choir – Silver tier (Category I – children’s choirs, age group A)
