Festival overview
The organizers invited choirs to the 34th International Choral Festival in Vranov nad Topľou. The event took place under the patronage of the Mayor, on the occasion of the Town Days of Vranov nad Topľou. The festival was supported from public sources by the Slovak Arts Council and with financial contribution of the Town of Vranov nad Topľou.
Information about the festival
- Non-competitive choral festival for all age groups.
- Choirs from Slovakia and from foreign countries were invited to take part in the festival.
- Concerts took place in Vranov nad Topľou, Hanušovce nad Topľou, and villages of the Vranov nad Topľou region.
Conditions for the participation of choirs
- Choirs were invited:
- as reciprocal exchange participants (no accommodation or board fees, only travel costs),
- without reciprocity (accommodation and board covered by participants).
- Accommodation and board were provided at GMC Barka Holiday Centre in Juskova Voľa, at the SOŠ hostel, or in host families of OZVENA.
- Within the festival, organizers offered workshops, seminars, a school visit, common choir meetings, a discussion evening for conductors and guests, a trip to Čičva Castle (and possibly other towns), a museum visit, and reception by the Mayor of Vranov nad Topľou.
- Deadline for registration: April 15, 2023. Application form was available in the downloadable files or at www.ozvena.sk .

- 17.00 Gala concert, Greek Catholic Church of the Most Holy Eucharist, Vranov nad Topľou.
- 20.00 Social gathering at Juskova Voľa.

- Morning Choir participation during Holy Masses and church services in Vranov nad Topľou and nearby villages.
