Festival overview
Under the patronage of the Mayor of the Town of Vranov nad Topľou, with financial contribution of the Fund for Arts and the Town of Vranov nad Topľou.
Information about the festival
- Non-competitive choral festival for all age groups.
- Choirs from Slovakia and from abroad are invited to take part in the festival.
- Concerts take place in the Culture House, in churches in Vranov nad Topľou and Humenné, in a church in Sedliská and in villages of the Vranov nad Topľou region.
Conditions for the participation of choirs
- Choir members pay for accommodation and full board: 110 € / person / 3 nights.
- Accommodation and board are offered in the hostel of the Secondary Vocational School (SOŠ) — 110 €, including the participation fee.
- Twin choirs (reciprocal exchange with the children and youth choirs Ozvena) do not pay any festival fees.
- Within the festival, participants take part in a workshop, common meetings of choir members, a visit to Čičva castle, a reception by the Mayor of Vranov nad Topľou, etc.
- Choirs will prepare the common composition for the gala concert: Eugen Suchoň, „Aká si mi krásna“ — download the score (PDF) ; it can also be sent by e-mail.
